Mercedes-Benz ‘Geländewagen’ legendary off-road vehicle was initially developed for the military. Today the G enjoys an ever growing followership in the luxury off road markets. Since the official launch back in 1979 the ‘Geländewagen’ now known as the G-Class is still in production today. Built entirely by hand at the Magna Steyr facility in Graz, Austria the G-Class has become an icon of the Mercedes-Benz brand and truly represents engineering at its finest.
